I am looking for people who have inspirational stories to tell for an upcoming book geared toward at-risk youth. Do you come from a broken home? Are you an abuse survivor? Were you able to say no to drugs, violence, or gangs? Were you a high achiever in school despite not having support at home? Did you have a substance abuse problem that you overcame? Did you get in trouble with the law and turn your life around?
What’s your story? Are you willing to share it to help benefit a kid who might not have the support he/she needs at home? This is your chance to help others by telling your story. If you are interested in sharing, please email me. (Names can be changed for privacy if you prefer.) True stories only, please.
Please be sure to put “SUCCESS STORIES” in the subject line. Please include a brief note about your story; for example: “I was a survivor of child abuse and went on to start my own business”, etc. We can go into further detail at a later point.
